This year we have chosen SERVICE as our theme for our conference. To make this successful, people need to consider a type of service that you can offer up to be auctioned off on Saturday evening. The service you offer can be something you bring with you to put in the silent auction, or a service you could do at a later time that will be “sold” in the live auction on Saturday evening.
Please look at the lists of suggestions for “Silent” and “Live” Service Auction Ideas to help you come up with an idea for a service you can offer in the auction as we would like everyone to bring/offer some type of service.
TO MAKE THIS SUCCESSFUL, WE NEED EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE.
“Silent” and “Live” Service Auction Ideas

Get together with a friend or two and offer a service!!
These are only ideas, so use your imagination and your talents and have some fun!!!
Disclaimer:
When offering up items for auction or when bidding on items, please consider the nature of the offer and whether or not you would be comfortable with how it would be delivered. For example, if you do not want to give out your address to anyone else, then we suggest you do not bid on service, such as yardwork, that would require someone come to your home. Please be sensible in this regard and also consider other ways that a service could be offered or obtained, such as cooking dinner for someone and having the missionaries over at the same time or dropping the dinner off in disposable containers. If you are thoughtful about this, then there will be no need to be concerned about anything but having fun and getting to know more fun and interesting people through service! |
